Founder

Dave Hoffman, Chief Executive Officer

Founder Dave Hoffman currently serves as CEO of Asset Allocator Institute, where he hosts conferences and roundtable dinners for investors across the country, fostering dialogue and connections in the investment community.

Dave’s career spans nearly 20 years of producing conferences across a range of sectors. He has organized and run regional investment management conferences across the US as well as Europe and South America, while also hosting forums covering the challenges faced by pharmaceutical (Lean Sigma for Pharma Research, Patient Engagement for Clinical Trials), energy (Digital Power Plants, Texas Power Summit), and sustainability (Conference Board Summit on Sustainability) professionals. This extensive experience led him to write Producing Success: A Career Guide for Conference Producers, which has helped event organizers on six continents.

Prior to producing conferences, Dave was a journalist, where he took a deep dive into understanding local governance, development, regional planning, and quality of life initiatives throughout the metro New York area. He currently writes articles for member publications of Chambers of Commerce, Visitors Bureaus, and Economic Development Councils (EDCs) nationwide—fueling his curiosity about the intersections of industries and communities.

Dave holds a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice and volunteers on the Mount Kisco’s Economic Development Council.
